You are trying to tell us that the most reasonably interpretation of "pesky occasion" is "once a day". IMO, the most obvious and reasonable interpretation of "pesky occasion" is defecation. "Once a day" was meant as a tasteful suggestion of defecation. Not only just reasonable, you want us to believe that you can hardly coinceive of any other interpretation. I have not yet conceived of one. I am open to suggestions.
