I'm tiptoeing into shorts against IIF, INP, and IFN, and looking at companies such as REDF. I like REDF short because it is one of the weaker stocks right now, and the valuation is pretty high relative to sales or earnings.

Re China, I'm not even considering shorts there yet. WAAAY too much momentum flowing. I think it's best as an indicator species. However, I am setting up positions against emerging markets ETFs like EEM.

Also, when China goes, I think one of the fatalities is going to be the steel stocks. And they are going to have a long, slow suffering. In Brazil, RIO should suffer doubly from both the emerging markets unwinding, and the steel price falling. And you have X and NUE domestically.
