As long as we're just passing information here, I'll add my 2 cents.

I had a number of biopsy's on my prostrate before they found my cancer. Seems that unless they hit the right spot, you always get a negative reading. My PSA readings got all the way up to 17 -- still they couldn't find the cancer. But it was there.

After they found it, I had hormone shots, radiation treatments, and radiation implants.

Sounds like a long drawn-out series of treatment, but it didn't bother me at the time. Still, I'm in my low 70's and that was three or four years ago. I'd think there was better ways to deal with it today.

The PSA readings have been zero since then --
