No, al Qaida in Iraq started it. Because of their fanaticism.

As for fostering democracy, few countries have complained so far. Its mostly liberals and islamo-fascists who don't like it

I know the level of bloodshed in Iraq doesn't matter to liberals. They didn't care that Saddam killed hundreds of thousands of his countrymen.

You make assertions about both 1) an alleged lust for Iraqi oil and 2) an alleged idealogy for "democracy". Which is it? A war for oil or for idealogy?

Do you even think about the meaning of the words you use?
