Crimson > “What chaos are you claiming will happen if you and the armies of darkness withdraw from our land? What chaos can be worse than the one we are passing through in Iraq where blood is being continuously shed,” Al Sadr said.

He's got the horse by the tail -- the US doesn't give a shit about chaos as it applies to the Iraqis, and even less about Iraqi blood being shed. The chaos Petraeus refers to is the difficulty the US will have in maintaining a puppet government in Iraq, difficulty in getting the stolen Iraqi oil out fast enough and without interference from insurgents a.k.a terrorists and the difficulty in maintaining military bases all along the Iranian border ready to attack Iran and possibly even Russia.

It's gonna take a powerful man to hold Iraq together. He's the one; you could see it coming two years ago already. My common sense tells me that most Iraqis would prefer the tranquility of his rule over the present fiasco, even though a blood bath will precede it. We've given DEMOCRACY a really really bad name.
