I don't see how 20/20 hindsight is all that relevant. It wasn't as if what the Japanese did was considered acceptably by most before the way but now it not. By the standards of the day the Japanese actions where wrong. Going back to your earlier statement - "While many if not most of the surviving "comfort women" claim they got kidnapped and used at slaves, very little real evidence if any exists that this was indeed the case for the majority of them." Is there evidence that it wasn't true for a majority?
