Incidentally, we have found a great dogfood...Newman's Own (Paul Newman's brand) ...all organic..in a can. We top a can of it with Benniful and so far so good.

this could be the tip of an iceberg about the corners being cut in China, where there is no Gov't regulation to speak of... You're absolutely correct Gary. In virtually every field of commerce, China is prospering without playing by internationally respected rules. They have been pirating intellectual property from day one. But food items, pet or human, are a hot button, because they affect loved ones and animals we cherish. Possibly something positive will emerge from this. Let's hope and work toward it.
