send Bush a bill on Tuesday that gives $124 billion for the Iraq war

No,
it gives $100 Billion to the troops and $24 billion in democrat pockets to secure their vote against the president.

"I like Murthas plan:"

Me too! Make Bush have to KEEP coming back every couple of months with a "progress" report when he begs for funds. The Dems will have the R's up for re-election in '08 backing a withdrawal in just a few months.

Murtha also raised the impeachment word on Face the Nation. Didn't say he was for it, just said it's a tool to control Presidents that congress has.

Hopefully the Dems won't fund the war for a whole year... I like Murthas plan:

Fight over Iraq war funds heads toward new phase By Caren Bohan

If you were a Dem congressman, would you endore Murtha's plan, or come up with some other proposal?
