Well Jay, according to my calculations, April 2007 is the first month with an official close of gold above $666. February was close, but this one clears the bar.

Like all numbers, it only has meaning if people decide to give it some. The US could have debased their currency faster and given us a close above the magic point sooner.

So now we ask "What Next?", and make plans for May.
