Rockets were not being shot into Israel from the West Bank prior to 1967, to my knowledge, the Israelis lived in relative peace with the Palestinians. The only time the Palestinians acted up with violence to the degree that exists today was because of the occupation after 1967.

Bwahahahahaha!! You're joking, right?

Having lost in battle what they could have had in the peace envisioned by the 1947 Partition Plan, Palestinian Arab terrorist groups, called "Fedayeen", began systematic raids against the Israeli civilian population. 1,300 Israelis were killed and wounded by Arab terrorists between 1949 and 1956.(1) The "Fedayeen" operated from bases located in and controlled by Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.

So I would expect them to go back to the same lifestyle that pre-existed 1967

Well, what YOU expect is great, but can you produce any quotes from Palestinians saying that they agree with what YOU expect?

Suicide bombers are the byproduct of the occupation, its a defense mechanism known only to those that don't have standard military weaponry to fight occupation.

You're just making stuff up. The leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan was suicide bombed a few days before 9/11. He was suicide bombed by the Taliban. The Taliban was ruling the country at the time, there was no "outside" occupation involved. He was suicide bombed by people supporting the leaders of the country. How does that jive with your silly claim?

Have you ever heard the Palestinians say under what term they will accept the existence of Israel? I haven't. They apparently think Israel is on land that they are entitled to, so it must go. Your idea that all the troubles began in 1967 is your idea, and nothing more than that. It has little basis in history.

If this is true, why don't we see any Tibetan suicide bombers?

Or Aboriginal (Australian) suicide bombers?

The list of oppressed people is long. The list of people who resort to suicide bombing is very short. As such, your "defense mechanism" theory is utter nonsense.
