Naa...that doesn't help. I want my kids to lose with dignity on the outside but be rotten losers on the inside. When I was a kid I was not a good sport. I hated to lose and I worked my butt off to not let it happen. My son does much better than I did. Even in 3rd grade I'd stew for a week about losing. I enjoyed playing football but losing just wasn't my style. Now that I'm 41 I still hate losing and I never want my kids to accept it as being ok.

The first thing I have to do next week is feed the ball to the kid who puked up the ball. I'm sure he feels terrible and that has to be fixed. It doesn't help that I have another coach who never played sports and says to the kids that its not about winning - its just for fun. Well sure its fun but its a damn site more fun to win. He wont be back with me next year. I want John Madden, Buddy Ryan, Mike Ditka, Woody Hayes - I want guys that hate losing and try to teach the kids how to become better football players and how to win. It's about fire in the belly and I want my kids to play with a 3 alarm blaze
