Elroy, you are wrong. Obviously you have not read many of my posts on SI. I am never wrong!! :-) The Taliban are not Palestinians. I will repeat again. Usually 'repeat' involves saying or writing the exact same thing. Anyway.... The Israelis were not subject to suicide bombers prior to 1973. Once Israel occupied the Palestinian lands, the suicide bombers developed in Palestine. Elroy, focus on Palestine, that's what I'm talking about. Don't try to take events outside of Palestine and make it up as if it applies there since it doesn't. That would be like me comparing US gang wars with those in Russia -- apples and oranges. Stay focused on the discussion - Palestine. GR So you seem to believe that since Pal suicide bombing started in 1973 that moving the Israeli borders back to where they were in ~1967 will end Pal suicide bombing. The problem with this view is that it is just speculation on your part, and probably wrong. Can you find us a quote from a single Palestinian that supports your view? I doubt it, and in fact you would need that quote from 99% of the Palestinians since 1 dude who holds the opposite view (he still wants to suicide bomb Israel even if they move back to the '67 borders) ruins your entire thesis. The US isn't going to put a military base in Israel because you have a conclusion which is based on some fantasy view of returning to how things were in 1967, and which is not supported by the facts on the ground today. And I know that the Taliban are not Palestinians. The Tazmanians aren't from Tanzania, and Slovenians don't come from Slovakia, and the Iranians don't speak Iranian, they don't even speak Persian, they speak Farsi.
