I was listening to NPR this morning. They were talking about the problems in Darfur. It is really sick that the liberals can't draw the parallels between Iraq and Darfur. It is absolutely in our interests to help the people of Iraq, or the genocide problems will continue to grow. Muslim opportunism contiunes to seek out political weakness in the Middle East, Africa, and even Europe. The raping and pillaging is an inevitable result. I absoultey think we need to do more to work with the whackos in Iran just to slow down the killing. Meanwhile, the leaders in Saudia Arabia and Pakistan need to be supported as much as possible to change the educational system. However, the whole system is a self fulfilling prophecy of violence as long as Islamic leaders condone Muslim individuals to force conversion and kill apostates. I think the world is facing a potential showdown between Muslims and Christians in these areas. It has nothing to do with the UN sending in troops to restore order. This is a total political problem that will continue to repeat itself.
