Hm. I wonder when (ok, if) George will finally accept the fact that he cannot run out the clock. He can't run this out for another (nearly) 2 years. That means he has to do something or someone else will do it for him. I wonder if he is capable of coming to terms with this sooner rather than later. If it's true that the troop problem is going to manifest at the end of the summer, what is he going to do this fall? If gas prices should rise to $4.50/gallon during the summer driving season, the economy slips into recession while the housing bubble continues to deflate...will the light bulb finally come on in the OO? We have 1.3% growth so far this year and this is with 'wartime' spending. This can't be a good sign. George can't sit out the entire summer at Crawford, not with Cindy Sheehan camped out again by the side of the road. What an enormous, unbelievable mess and it's entirely of his own making....amazing.
