That's one way of framing the current political flux....

Of course, that is not the ONLY possible way for things to develop.

There are *many* avenues still open at this point.

(To just mention one possibility out of many - without assigning it any ranking for 'how possible', but just mentioning that the possibility exists - what if an extremely WELL-FINANCED candidate mounted a third Party run... say a Bloomberg or some such. And then posit that the two sides of the Republi-crats each puts forth divisive Party nominees with high NEGATIVES among the general public... say a Hillary and a Big Government Christian Conservative, for example. How THEN would the tenor of the election change? Considering that Independents are the fastest rising political 'affiliation'....)
