After my speaking with him, he was observed loading his car up and hasn't been seen since.

He'd best be gone. Otherwise I'd push the police to arrest him, and I'd throw in a civil lawsuit to boot.

I hope your daughter is doing ok now.

I spent a lot of my summers at a place called La Push which is nearly the uppermost northern beach in Wa St. Very remote and wild place. The beaches are lined with huge and several (meaning thousands) of logs that wash up during winter storms.

We used to jump for hours and hours along the logs playing and finding perfect spots to build forts. One day I was jumping along with the other kids and slipped. My foot came down on a rusty old spike. The only facilities for first aid was the local Coast Guard station. My Mom took me up and I had to have the tetanus shot and get it all bandaged up, so I can sure sympathize with your daughter.

We could form a posse.

Gads, PB...That is really, really terrible. Too bad the police can't find him....That's domestic terrorism, for sure.

Glad your daughter is better now....

I just traced back to the original story of the spikes on the golf course. I do hope she is doing well. You have handled it magnificently!

OMG - I missed this whole conversation until just now. What a sick person.

I used to live in a golf course community. Once I ended up coming close to putting out someone's patio door. I knew I would have to pay for it, but was more concerned about the rudeness I had inflicted. Fortunately I was only the latest of many.

Why is it in every neighborhood, there is usually some crazy?

When I was little, someone poisoned all the cats and dogs in the neighborhood.

We pretty much knew it was the old man who lived behind us, who loved his yard and flowers but hated people and animals...anyhow, we never could prove it, but one of his neighbors on the other side said he found some meat and went into the house to get some gloves to pick it up, but when he came back out the meat was gone...We knew it was poisoned and that's how he'd done it..
