I'm sure you could. My dad taught my brother and me to shoot when I was only about 5. We could shoot in our back yard in those days. He was a cop and we shot his service revolver. I'd like to get to a range today and see how I'd do since I had Lasik surgery in February. I had "mono" correction which gives me great distance vision in my right eye and reading capability in my left eye. I'm still getting used to this, but it's improving. I'd have to sight with my right eye only, which has always been my dominant eye, so I doubt it would affect my aim.
