The one reverse split that comes to mind that worked out well was THQI...

Palm also. Truth is, it all depends on circumstances. Usually, it's not a stable company trying to get out of the $1 range, but a tanking company trying to stay listed - which is why so many simply lead to a further price drop.

To assume a reverse split is bad is stupid, IMO.
