When I was a kid, my best friend and I had what we called our "tree fort."

I stepped on many a rusty nail in my time, and had many a tetanus shot.

This was back in the days where the shots were not considered good for 10 years, so I got one almost every year.

How beautiful!

I was surprised at how many people in this country die each year form tetanus. It's crazy when there's a shot to prevent it.
