I dunno, you may be right. But, my thinking is that Thompson will get some pretty broad-based support from Reagan Republicans. That support will be from everywhere, except the Northeast, and possibly the Left Coast.

Really? I wondered about that. How can they with a strait face though? Especially if the democrat nomination comes out "against" gun control. Maybe the question needing to be asked is.... what does the republican party stand for today?

I agree with you about McCain.
