What? The NRA didn't support hunters' interests? That surprises me.

By any chance, was this more than eight or so years ago? If so, there has been a HUGE turnaround in the organization's philosophy since then. When Chuck Heston took over, there was a bloodbath between the bean counters/appeasers and the grass roots base. The organization today is much different than it was back then.
