The Iranians should have been doing cartwheels in the streets when we took out Saddam. Of course, they were ecstatic about the war in Iraq so they could start the arms race in Iraq and Lebanon. Every times things get a little too quiet, they doing something royally stupid like hijacking Her Majesty's Navy. They got the spring rally in oil rolling from $59 to $65 and oil has never really taken a breather ever since. War is basically good for the world since it forces the politicians to redistribute global wealth. I would love to see more people dissecting Iran's conflicts of interests at the same level as the US. That would require some real thinking from all the lefties, and it wouldn't even serve their bizarre purpose in life - to get Bill Clinton's wife elected. The transparency of everyone's motives keeps going in circles. It's just so ironic that all of the tree hugging liberals that want to save the world in places like Dafur don't want us to lift a finger against the terrorists attacking the governments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
