But does it matter?

When the managers are taking 20% of the profits and who knows how much of the principal as management fees, they are in a dream world no ordinary investor will ever see.

Hedge funds are great investments----for the managers.

They must HEDGE

The problem with Amaranth is that it didn't hedge. Some do, some take one sided bets.
