It's clear that you are prepared to look at any case of terrorism, and say it doesn't count if it doesn't look exactly like the 'ticking bomb' case you saw on 24.

But that, unfortunately, is not something that real police officers get to know beforehand. They can only know stuff like there is a truck bomb out there ready to blow, and their suspect knows something about where it is.
