FWIW - When K-Mart went bankrupt they issued new shares. The original shares went to zilch, nada, zero:-{ Reason I know is because I had some. One day you could trade them the next day they were gone.

SHLD - Sears holdings is not $188 and one of Cramer's favorites to go much higher. He relates it to Buffet's stock for the long term. Jim
