Student loan sharks and payday loan sharks.

Symbols of contemporary finance capitalism.

The main point of my post though is that the payday loan sharks may be getting desperate now.

Their supply of gullible victims seems to be running dry so they move to target anybody who rents an apartment.

I don't mean to sound like I just fell off the turnip truck, but regarding student loans, i thought they were fixed rate, low interest, and no requirement to pay until after graduation (that is if the student takes the loan out). Congress has really let the regular folks down imho. Credit card companies can bump your rate to exorbitant rates if you miss a payment or are late more than once. We had one of those and paid it off right away.
