It is logical to use what is effective. Suicide bombing is tremendously effective. It is cheap. It is low tech. It works. What's not logical about that?

We wouldn't be talking about it if it weren't effective, and what is effective, is logical. Right?

The logic of terrorist attacks is that they are cheap, require few people or resources and are fairly effective against a much larger, better equipped military. No one said they were 100% effective so your argument makes no sense.

For $250,000 OBL made several billion people stand up, take notice and change how they thought and acted. This is why we cannot freak out when terrorism hits close to home. Our reactions fuel future terrorism. If we don't react, we extinguish terrorism. If we don't send our military over to occupy someone else's territory then we extinguish terrorism.

Did you actually read the article? To dismiss people as religious fanatics is not useful. These are not necessarily crazy people. I do not think they are out of touch with reality. They are extremists but that does not make them crazy or stupid.

If politics worked better, I suspect there would be virtually no terrorism. I suspect most people would prefer campaigning to blowing themselves up.
