Why not? One can print ANY amount, and that's exactly what
the Fed has been doing, printing over mortgage problems.
It can't go up too much in REAL terms, though, and DOW/GOLD
ratio will be 1 eventually. The number (20000 or 5000)
is up to the Fed.
