The Army will award Gant the Silver Star, the military's third highest award for valor, on Thursday. As of the end of February, the Army had awarded the medal 269 times since the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq began.

Not rare IMO. Many super-heros out there. God bless the troops!!!

The Military who have joined voluntarily are heros in my mind...and beyond Super Heros are those who have been injured and continue wanting to stay in the service. We are in their debt, for sure.

Then when we want to see what outstanding people these folks AND their families are....

Imagine all the outspoken loudmouth Dems lined up...
Then
Imagine any one of these people individually, and have them stand by themselves.

There is NO comparison.

Honor and Valor....as compared to: Complete Voids~~SuperNaughts

Such bravery is a rare quality.

The one question I have never found a comprehensive answer to is this -

Does courage, fortitude and bravery drive men to seek Special Forces training?

or

Does Special Forces training instill those qualities?

I do know one thing for certain, everyone standing under that funny looking green beanie today possesses them in abundance.
