Maybe someone just posted this, but it's a picture of classic stock market insanity. As I was saying of the Japanese nearly 20 years ago, "those poor people." The Chinese think financial Nirvana has arrived. There's going to be an enormous bust. 300%, almost, gain in less than two years? No way that lasts.

Massachusetts has become the first state in the country to declare a moratorium on foreclosures stemming from predatory lending.

they shouldn't be so self-congratulatory. Ohio's AG has been imposing injunctions since the middle of March. the AG is out for blood and looking to prosecute and send people to prison. if you haven't seen it, read the lead article of the April 6 Grant's.

it is pretty amazing when a mortgage contract is voided by state fiat. the lenders are sooo farked...

I assume that Gov. Deval Patrick will decide which loans were predatory. After all , he sat on the Board at ACC Capital Holdings which is the holding company for both Ameriquest and Argent.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I am getting really sick of having to pay for other people's stupity. Once again people who actually live within their means are about to get punished while those that don't get rewarded.
