I can remember being that age when if someone showed up at our local weekly Boy Scout troop meeting without his Swiss Army knife, he would be reprimanded for violating the Scout's Motto of "Be Prepared." A couple of times in grade school some little thing in the classroom would need a repair, like a desk out of balance, and the teacher asked if anyone had a Swiss Army knife. I always had mine. I guess today I would be handcuffed and manicled and frog marched down the corrider to the local precinct, to await arraignment the next morning. To paraphrase Churchill: "I hope to live to see the day when the (British) people spit this rubbish from their lips."
