So GZ, what do you do if someone lies about you over and over again to gain a political advantage? Turn the other cheek?

Why not come down on the one starting the wrong? You don't because they are furthering an agenda you obviously support. Sometimes the "grip" needed is to at least be honest enough with yourself to admit this.
