Are you actually suggesting that being intolerant of an insult is intolerance? So, I should allow everyone to fling unwarranted, rude, and abusive language at each other in the name of tolerance? This is completely illogical and absurd. Could you kindly explain where I'm wrong here? TIA I'm very tolerant of differing views, but differing views and rudeness are two completely seperate things. Most people can tell the difference, can't you? I suggest you read the header of this thread more closely, it says: "All posters are welcome, but please remember this is a public forum, an open town hall meeting, kindly act accordingly. A spontaneous, uninhibited, and vigorous discussion is always welcome here, but uncivil rudeness and/or vulgarity are not acceptable." There is a first time for everything. That's correct, there is always a first time for everything. If you want to discuss the issues, that's fine, but you fouled the air with your insulting and unacceptable remark, so we need to set the record straight before we can move forward.
