I would like to debate and discuss issues with you

But you attacked me personally because you disagree, is this how you "debate and discuss issues" with others? By attacking and assaulting them?

but I stand by my comment

And now you again stand by your insult because you disagree...

but because I think it is true.

Discussing WITH me is fine, but why are you discussing me? When did I become a candidate for President, please let me know?

I have been here well over ten years without a ban

So what?

So even the threat of a ban if I don't apoligize (sic) to you just about proves my point.

Removing you from my thread because you stand by your unwarranted insult to me "proves" your point? What kind of twisted logic is that? Could you kindly explain this? Your comment here makes no rational sense. How do you possibly get from A to B in your comment? Are you actually suggesting that being intolerant of an insult is intolerance? So, I should allow everyone to fling unwarranted, rude, and abusive language at each other in the name of tolerance? This is completely illogical and absurd. Could you kindly explain where I'm wrong here? TIA

I'm very tolerant of differing views, but differing views and rudeness are two completely seperate things. Most people can tell the difference, can't you?

I suggest you read the header of this thread more closely, it says:

"All posters are welcome, but please remember this is a public forum, an open town hall meeting, kindly act accordingly. A spontaneous, uninhibited, and vigorous discussion is always welcome here, but uncivil rudeness and/or vulgarity are not acceptable."

There is a first time for everything.

That's correct, there is always a first time for everything.

If you want to discuss the issues, that's fine, but you fouled the air with your insulting and unacceptable remark, so we need to set the record straight before we can move forward. I look forward to your clarifications raised above. TIA
