A true scientist looks at all the evidence, and arrives at an answer. In this case,he would look at the theory, the evidence to support the theory, and, in the case of a dynamic situation like GW, in which CO2 levels are constantly changing, at all new data coming in almost daily. Would also look at other theories, and the data to support them. Then, he would decide whether or not the theory was valid and in operation. When enuf individuals, and enuf national academies go thru this process, and all come to the same conclusion, there is a consensus. Doesn't mean unanimity. Not even unanimity on the link between HIV and AIDS. The previously mentioned Mullis, and ?Dusenberg. anonymous rat brains... Still trying to hide from Pa Bell, eh, Watson?
