Started to pick up the latest issue of The Atlantic at the Austin airport bookstore. Bought the latest copy of Harper's and Time instead. I had not read Time in forever. The comedown is terrible. In the past I've read it only on trips; that's over. As for Harper's, it had an interesting reprint of an article by Perry Anderson, the British academic Marxist, on Putin's Russia. Just an excellent piece. I assumed it would be online so I promised copies for my brothers. Unfortunately, it's not. I'll take a look at The Atlantic.
