John- I reread it to see if I could get you a quote that sort of summed up my impression that "this woman is completely delusional"- here it is- I've bolded the craziest sentence (apparently it's from an article she wrote for Foreign Affairs- and if I ever read it, I don't remember it):

"There are those who would draw a sharp line between power politics and a principled foreign policy based on values. This polarized view- you are either a realist or devoted to norms and values- may be just fine in academic debate, but it is a disaster for American foreign policy. American values are universal."

This gal is nuts. American values are universal? What planet is she living on? And guess what's been a disaster for American foreign policy? Ms. Rice and Mr. Bush. Talk about an unmitigated disaster. Geez. Horrible beyond what I dreamed possible back in 2000.
