I get the feeling that a majority of Americans have turned away from the GOP. If they get pounded in '08, it's going to be a real wake-up call for our local wingnuts, many of whom are only Republicans so they can be on the "winning" side.

Rove, instead of building a "permanent Republican majority", will have killed any chance of that for decades instead with his divisive politics.
