Yep, it's hard to wake people up from their stupor. Americans are particularly dense when it comes to the problem of where their money is going. They will complain about immigrants and welfare queens but will ignore their actual problem: government and corporate corruption. It still hasn't dawned on the majority of people that they work much harder, with two incomes for much less free time and much more risk than their parents. Their children's future looks much worse with even upper middle class professional jobs set to go overseas. The proverbial frog in a slowly heating pot. IMO if we get $4.50 gas or Medicare starts screaming and the VA goes bust....maybe people will finally start to ask the relevant question: why does it have to be this way?
