Re: "...Bernie was Clinton's single largest individual contributor."

I never said he *wasn't*... so that isn't "...contrary to what McKee claims".

The the campaign contributions of Bernie were WELL REPORTED and covered in all the news items about the Loral legal case.

But, of course, 'Bernie' wasn't the ONLY executive at Loral (and was not the only one charged in the case).

Loral as a whole (including corporate directors), like most defense contractors, gave lots of money to BOTH Parties, but, (also like most defense contractors in recent years) also gave a bit more on average to the G.O.P. then to Dems. :-)

(In truth, corporations give to get their 'bread buttered' by the feds... so which ever Party is in power at the time, and holding the purse strings for federal spending, usually sees a surge in corporate 'contributions'. <g>)

The rest, (about the Loral 'dual use' illegal technology transfer, and the trial) I've already mentioned in my other post....

(Note: in none of the reports coming out of the high profile federal prosecution of the company and it's leadership, is there *anything* like a claim that 'Bill Clinton transfered this stuff to the Commies....' :-)
