What size bed does she have there? A single bed size wouldn't be too bad.

I slept on one for a couple years, before changing bedrooms and getting my sleep number bed. It's a lot more comfortable than just sleeping on the mattress alone. Still, it doesn't compare to the sleep number for comfort. For a dorm room it should be fine.
