You're probably right, but that was the impression he gave me in those 30 second sound bytes...

The sense I had was that he would say women's rights were not the "original intent." It's too easy to say that something is not the original intent as an excuse to do something... women's rights in this case is just an example of where I think Paul was going with his original intent qualifier for everything, I could be wrong, but I also seriously doubt that I'm the only one who watched that broadcast who walked away with this impression... I could as easily have used any other example, he did say he would do away with the IRS, now that would be a great idea...
