Read the story you posted dopey... Here's a quote from it, since you obviously didn't read it -
"The recent increases are due mostly to refinery problems, Lundberg said, noting there have been at least a dozen additional partial shutdowns in the U.S. and internationally that cut refining capacity."

no one is forcing american people to buy arab gas. we could at least reduce the amount we buy..... but as long as there is credit available on a credit cards we will continue to drive like there is no tomorrow as we speed up to stop signs and red lights and do hard stops at the last minute.... it is the american way..... and it has gotten worse with drivers peering down the nose of their SUVs.
