There is CERTAINLY no denying the fact that he was McCain's national campaign manager, or that he co-sponsored several bills with McCain while they were serving in the Senate, and that --- to this day --- they both describe each other as friends. (And, the similarities in their voting histories can be, and have been, tabulated....) So, what was it you thought the writers got wrong?
