Cho was "involuntarily committed", so, it looks like Virginia just blew it. That's presuming the Feds would have caught it if he had been referred to the database. I bought an automatic pistol at a gun show here, it was an antique from a private collection. It works just fine as a gun and shoots real well. All I had to do was give the guy my driver's license info, which he wrote on a scrap of paper and shoved in his pocket after I'd asked him about the reporting requirements. I got the feeling if I hadn't asked him, he wouldn't have asked for that. I see guns for sale here in Salt Lake City all the time on Craig's List, under the "Sporting" category.
