Good point - no, it wasn't meant to include Outlook.

Viewing and editing documents wasn't meant to be included, either, by the idea that these normally don't require the full feature set of the word processing application or spreadsheet - however, I don't expect to find statistics that perfectly match the criteria.

I agree, that a lot of people get really confused if you ask them to create a file on their PC. But it would be interesting to see some real statistics about this, to see how much Microsoft Office is "need to have" or "nice to have", preferably with historic data on the same topic, too.
