I want ALL immigrants that come to this country to speak English. Certainly they have a leg up over many Americans because then they would know 2 languages....their own native language, and English. Right now, no one really knows how much it is costing this country to have interpreters in hospitals, drivers license and test information in as many as 15 or more languages, our police having to know Spanish or risk some of the Spanish speaking ILLEGALS whining that they didn't know what the Police were saying when the Police said "Drop the gun"....etc etc etc. Read Leo Rosten's "HYMAN KAPLA*N" someday. A LEGAL immigrants tale of learning English in his new Country of America. It is funnier than heck, and so very true.....He also wrote the "Return of Hyman Kaplan" as well.....

Anyone in history who sought freedom and opportunity by running away from tyranny and incompetent corrupt government has been willing to take any "shortcut" that presented itself. It's human nature and no sane person would want it any other way. The New Wave is the latest of God's 200+ years of gifts to America, and they come at a time when the dark shadow of murderous Islam once againg brings the survival of the West into doubt. True conservatives want to get rid of the ignorant, populist-driven, racist laws that define the natural flow of humanity as a "shortcut". American culture is superior because it is pro-human and God-fearing, not because it allows defective "laws" to push it away from its ideals. The foam sprayed by the rhetoric of Tom Tancredo insults us all...
