We have no threshold and in fact, had carpet in the bathroom "pf" (pre flood). It came out the door and into the vanity area. Then I happened to pull the couch away from the wall and it had seeped under the walls into the sitting area about 4 ft. out. We did the wet vac and put heat on it and pulled it up to let it dry; etc. Then...the "smell" came. UGH! and THEN? Schweetie got mad and cut out the dry carpet; only to find the pad and subfloor were wet. Insurance company told us they would have removed the carpet, taken it to a warehouse, dried it, stretched it and brought it back to re-install. Yeah, right...pull the other leg, it has bells on it. Wasn't gonna be any restoring that carpet, IMO. Anyway...insurance did squat. We removed and reinstalled carpet and replaced where the subfloor had gotten wet and funky. Oh well...was a P.I.A., but I got a very nice new bedroom "redo". And? it's thisclose to being 100% done!! As the scripture says "What the devil meant for harm; God turned to good"! I love the "redone" room. :) Any-ta-way...that has nothing to do with nothing...but it's too late now! -g- e' HEY...I just found the card. We used: Roebic Foaming Root Killer I see they have other products too. Not sure why we picked foaming root killer over the K-77. Musta been what was recommended. roebic.com
