Count for what? Try explaining yourself in your own words, cut and paste or reciting memorized phrases is no way to have a discussion... simply stated, public prayer is nothing more than grandstanding...

But, you still didn't answer my question, what does it matter whether one prays or not and why should that be any kind of criteria for a Presidential candidate? TIA

You *did* notice, (didn't you?), that NEITHER of those Biblical quotations you provided explicitly mandated that prayer be PUBLIC --- which was the discussion --- nor did either of them contradict Matthew's SPECIFIC ADMONITION against it.
