Well, lets "stop the American casualties"! It's a no brainer.

We can handle the bloodbath and the fallout. We've had practice!

We've been through this entire pile of crap before, and WE TOLD YOU SO before your disowned heroes even started it!

re: Are we prepared to deal with the fallout that comes from that? Most think we have no choice but to do just that. I'm not ready to give up like that, but I am pretty close.

Well if you can find someone with an plan that will change the eventual outcome in Iraq (10 or 20 years down the road), then I'm willing to listen. Right now we are just piling in more death and treasure (at the rate of 100 soldiers and $?Billions) month in and month out.

It's "stay the course" all over again. For nothing.

Just like he feels about you, "one never sheds one's roots":

The Italians made it far out on the left side. They even housed the largest communist party outside of the Soviet Union. Did you know the Russians even honored the Italian commie leader by naming a whole city "Togliattigrad" after him?

Try and stop what? If we pull our troops out now, we'll stop the American casualties, but the violence there will only get worse than it already is.

Do you really think there is anyway to stop the violence? Saddam kept the lid on for a long time. That lid is gone.....there are issues and grievances to be addressed whether we stay or go. What I am clear about is that no more American blood should be spilled over Iraqi issues and disputes.
