Been waiting for the "locusts to come and take the children" since the republic started under a mountain of "ruinous" debt 230 years ago.

You people who buy into the DRIVEL that "we are leaving a legacy of debt to our children" should be called to account for WHERE the locusts are.

The only economics lesson you will ever need. Try to GET IT at least once:

If you TAX the formation of private capital you will have LESS of it.

If you keep the formation of private capital FREE from tax you will have MORE of it.

And your locusts will never come...

Rather than abdicate on the war on terror how about exiting from the war on poverty which is a lost cause. There will be enough money left over to cut taxes and fund increased defense spending.
